His Majesty Tuanku Mizan is the Patron for this Association as well as for Malaysian Global Taekwon-Do Federation. He was entrusted a post of President of Asian Pacific Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), when he was the Crown Prince of Terengganu. He is the student of Mr.Najmi Abdullah (6th Dan), the Chief Instructor of this Association.
His Majesty earned his 1st Degree Blackbelt by grading. Due to his involvement and support, he managed to bring Terengganu at the eye of the world in 1994 when Kuala Terengganu was chosen as the host of the 9th World Taekwon-Do ITF Championship. The event was indeed a huge success and one of the best hosted championship in ITF history. He was involved in several important meetings with the Father of Taekwon-Do, the late Gen.Choi Hong Hi in 1990's.

Tuanku Mizan was awarded 7th Dan Honorary Blackbelt by Global Taekwon-Do Federation in 2002 for his continuous support.
On 13th December 2006, he was proclaimed the 13th King of Malaysia bearing the royal title Duli Yang Dipertuan Agong.
